My regular readers might remember that back in March and April of this year, I was confined to a wheelchair because of injuries to my knees. I had to find something to do with my extra time, so…I wrote a novel. It is something I have thought about doing for a long time. (Many of us dream about writing a novel. I read that out of 1,000 people that want to, only 3 actually do it.)
After a couple of months, I got walking again and had a 400-page novel written. After a lot of edxiting and revisions, the final product is now ready.
My favorite genre has always been thrillers. Guys like Ludlum, Brown, Koontz, Meltzer, etc., have alweays been my go-to reads for travel and vacation. I have read so many that I wanted to give it a try.
It was a blast. After I finished, I told my wife, “That was so much fun that I don’t really even care what happens to it now. It was like watching a two-month movie in my head.”
Betwen my blog and novelas, I have written (literally) millions of words, but this was the most fun I ever had as a writer. Hopefully you will have fun as a reader.
